Provide quality patient care services to patients of Allergy & ENT Associates under the direction of physicians, providers, and nursing staff, supporting the goals and objectives of the company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Front desk reception
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Greet patients warmly, complete registration forms, and provide instructions
- Process, code, and complete insurance claim forms
- Use appropriate medical terminology in communication
- Measure and record vital signs
- Interview patients, recording and updating medical information into the EHR
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests
- Provide patient education regarding medications and provider instructions
- Prepare and administer medications with physician authorization
- Maintain supplies, equipment, stocks, and prepare exam rooms for patients
- Clean and sterilize instruments
- Check and respond to patient phone calls, communicating with providers and relaying information
- Review and prepare requests and prior authorizations for medications
Education and Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable experience
- One year of medical office experience preferred
- Current CPR certification required;
Medical Assistant Certification a plus - Self‑directed, able to work independently

Anticipate lifting 20-25 pounds daily; occasional lifting up to 40-50 pounds may be required. May require manual dexterity to perform patient care tasks safely. Substantial repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motion. Possible exposure to acutely ill patients, communicable diseases, blood‑borne pathogens, and airborne allergens during skin testing and immunotherapy.
Work EnvironmentWell‑lit, heated and/or air‑conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation; moderate noise. Typical schedule Monday‑Friday with regular hours; occasional overtime or travel to other clinics may be required.
