Microsoft 365 and Web applications expert

DNV Global Shared Services is looking for a Microsoft 365 & Web Professional to join the Web and Collaborations Team to provide application support to DNV users globally.

You would be part of the team to assist DNV colleagues in working more efficiently through various collaboration tools such as Teams, SharePoint Online, Yammer, and other applications in the Microsoft 365 suite. In addition to that, we do maintenance and support of DNV Internet, DNV Intranet, DNV Search, Web hosting, Google Analytics, Kiteworks SFT (Secure File Transfer), SSL (Secure Socket Layer), Azure App Service, Confluence Wiki, and more.

The new colleague will help us maintain a high support standard and enhance our capacity to support complex web services, especially in Microsoft 365 applications. Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft 365 services are DNV’s main collaboration tools. You will be contributing to the further adoption of these tools. This exciting position offers an opportunity to gain and advance your knowledge in the Microsoft 365 area, the hottest area in IT right now.

This position will be located out of our Katy, TX , office.

What you’ll do

• Be part of the team to support and maintain DNV ’s typical web applications and collaboration tools
• Assist DNV colleagues in utilizing collaboration tools in the most effective way
• Drive user adoption and training of Microsoft 365 tools

What is Required

• Associates degree or higher in IT (relevant skills and experiences can compensate for the lack of a degree)
• Experience with end-user support
• Some knowledge of web technologies
• Some knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint)
• Some knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and service-minded attitude
• Self-motivated and self-sufficient attitude
• Ability to work well in a team as much as individually
• Ability to learn new things quickly as well as stay alert and curious
• We conduct pre-employment background and drug screenings

What Is Preferred

• Knowledge of scripting, Power Shell, and Azure
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, etc.)
• Previous experience in training others and writing documentation/user guides
• Any other web-related skills of interest
