We are seeking a hands‑on SAP OTC Functional Lead to provide functional design leadership for a newly implemented SAP S/4
HANA environment as part of a growing SAP Center of Excellence (COE).
This role is critical to stabilizing, optimizing, and scaling Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) capabilities within a high‑volume automotive supply chain operation. The ideal candidate combines deep SAP OTC expertise with strong business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders while driving standardization and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities SAP Functional Leadership- Lead functional design and solution architecture for Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) within SAP S/4
HANA - Serve as the OTC domain expert within the SAP COE and a trusted advisor to business stakeholders
- Ensure configurations align with SAP best practices, documentation standards, and long‑term enterprise architecture
- Facilitate workshops to gather and translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions
- Design scalable, integrated SAP solutions across Sales, Distribution, Warranty, Operations, and Finance
- Anticipate future business needs and ensure solutions support growth and operational efficiency
- Partner with AMS, business, and technical teams to reduce defects and enhancement backlog
- Research production issues, propose solutions, and drive resolution via configuration or development
- Apply OSS Notes, manage SAP patches, and stay current on SAP releases
- Lead functional design for WRICEF objects within the Sales & Distribution domain
- Provide functional specifications and design guidance to development teams
- Ensure strong SD–FI (AR) integration, including account determination and AR processes
- Provide guidance on IDoc configuration and processing
- Act as a senior functional leader with decision‑making influence across business and IT teams
- Collaborate with Architecture, Development, BASIS, Security, and AMS partners
- Support change management and SAP adoption initiatives
- Deliver high‑quality service to internal stakeholders
- 10+ years of SAP functional experience, with 8+ years focused on OTC
- Strong hands‑on SAP S/4
HANA configuration and post‑go‑live support experience - SD–FI (AR) integration and account determination
- Warranty and manufacturing‑related processes
- WRICEF design and functional documentation
- IDoc configuration and processing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) and Ariba
- Automotive or manufacturing industry experience
- Strong preference for SAP standardization and out‑of‑the‑box functionality
- Strong stakeholder communication and leadership presence
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to manage complexity and shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Collaborative, business‑focused mindset
