SAP Functional Analyst

We are seeking a hands‑on SAP Supply Chain Planning Lead to provide functional design leadership for a newly implemented SAP S/4

HANA environment as part of a growing SAP Center of Excellence (COE).

This role leads solution architecture and functional design across SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to support a high‑volume automotive supply chain operation. The ideal candidate brings deep SAP IBP expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders while driving planning accuracy, efficiency, and scalable SAP adoption.

• Lead functional design and solution architecture for SAP IBP Supply Chain Planning
• Serve as the SAP IBP subject matter expert within the SAP COE
• Ensure configurations align with SAP best practices and enterprise standards across IBP, CI‑DS, MM, SD, OTC, P2P, and related modules

• Facilitate workshops to translate supply chain requirements into SAP IBP solutions
• Design and implement end‑to‑end planning solutions including demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP
• Anticipate future planning needs and ensure scalable, integrated solutions

• Partner with AMS and technical teams to reduce defects and enhancement backlog
• Research production issues and enhancements; drive resolution through configuration or development
• Apply OSS Notes and stay current with SAP releases and innovations

• Provide functional leadership for WRICEF design supporting planning and distribution processes
• Support development teams with functional specifications and solution documentation
• Ensure strong integration between SAP IBP, CI‑DS, and SAP S/4

• Provide senior‑level guidance and decision‑making influence with business stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with Architecture, Development, BASIS, Security, and AMS partners
• Support change management and adoption of SAP planning solutions

• 10+ years of SAP or enterprise systems experience
• 8+ years of hands‑on SAP IBP configuration experience including demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP
• Strong experience with planning areas, key figures, master data, and time profiles
• Proven success improving forecast accuracy, inventory turns, days of supply, and working capital
• Strong functional and process design documentation skills
• Experience supporting SAP implementations and post‑go‑live environments
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience with EWM, FI/CO, MM, PTM, VMS, OTC, or P2P
• Automotive or high‑volume supply chain experience
• Strong preference for SAP standardization and out‑of‑the‑box functionality
