As a consulting organization, SRP values collaboration, communication, and accountability. The Quality Assurance Engineer works closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and client stakeholders to validate features end-to-end, identify risks early, and advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Success in this role is defined by attention to detail, proactive problem identification, maintainable test coverage, and a strong sense of ownership over the quality of delivered solutions. The work performed in this role has a direct and meaningful impact on the daily operations of law firms, supporting reliability, efficiency, and confidence in mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate closely with developers to identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution
  • Validate new features and enhancements for web-based applications, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Build, maintain, and evolve test suites, test data, and testing tools to support efficient and repeatable validation
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
  • Ensure consistent quality standards across multiple client projects with varying scope, timelines, and requirements
  • Identify edge cases, usability concerns, and workflow gaps by understanding how clients actually use the system
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback during code, design, and requirement reviews
  • Contribute to improving QA processes, documentation standards, and testing best practices across the organization
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of clear, user-friendly training and support documentation
  • Advocate for quality as a shared responsibility across engineering, delivery, and client teams
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar software testing role
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Proven experience writing clear, comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience using defect tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Familiarity with test case management tools and structured testing workflows
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium or similar)
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid development environments
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with cross-functional teams
  • Consulting mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
