Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Job Summary

Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader and we are hiring now. Earn $14.00 per hour.

• Flexible and full‑time schedules between the hours of 9:30 am and 6:00 pm (weekends until 5:00 pm).

• Work independently at multiple locations, spending time inside and outside.
• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits.
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.

• Ability to lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal.

Experience
:
Successful candidates come from a variety of customer‑service‑centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service‑based companies.

Transportation
:
Employees must have a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle to travel between work locations and for other work‑related business. Mileage reimbursement is available.
