Location: Katy, TX

The Assembly Supervisor oversees day-to-day assembly operations to ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

• Lead and monitor assembly operations to support efficient, reliable production

• Plan schedules, manage labor hours, and reallocate staff as needed to maintain workflow

• Identify productivity risks and communicate issues promptly to management

• Interview, evaluate, and select qualified assembly personnel

• Assess employee skill levels and coordinate training as needed

• Ensure tools and equipment meet calibration requirements

• Investigate part discrepancies and coordinate resolutions

• Address quality non-conformances in coordination with Quality teams

• Issue work orders, drawings, specifications, and instructions to team leads

• Troubleshoot assembly issues and escalate when necessary

• Conduct inspections to verify adherence to processes, safety, PPE, and 6S standards

• Maintain production continuity during employee absences

• Lead a capable, engaged team and promote continuous improvement

• Assign, resource, and integrate work effectively

• Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback

• Foster collaboration, accountability, and adherence to company values

• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead role

• Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes

• Proficiency with hand and power tools

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

• Willingness to travel up to 5%

• Associate’s degree in manufacturing or a related field

• 4+ years of supervisory experience

• Experience in power electronics manufacturing

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement

• Experience performing quality inspections

• Familiarity with Oracle ERP
