Press Operator

HIRING FOR NIGHT SHIFT 3PM-12AM

A Press Operator maintains the quality and maximum production of printed material in a profitable manner. Responsibilities are as follows:

• Perform manual and machine operator tasks in the set-up, maintenance and operation of a printing press, read instructions, set up press, run samples to adjust quality, color and mixing settings, and operate the printing press to print in accordance with job orders.
• Be a detail‑oriented, mechanically inclined problem solver.
• Keep all tools organized – cleaning up after use and putting unused equipment in its designated area.
• Communicate essential information regarding incomplete setups at shift change and any potential problems, and fill out all daily production, roll tags, and quality paperwork when applicable.
• Have an understanding of materials required for various surfaces (floors and walls).
• Assist with other tasks as needed by production management staff.

• High School Diploma.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to climb a ladder and lift 70 lbs.
• Understands construction methods, tools (knowledge of using a post‑hole digger), and safety protocols.
• Wear proper PPE when needed on job location.
• Record, document, measure, and plan for graphics installation.
• Must have a smartphone and knowledge of mobile apps.

• 3+ years’ experience in signage and graphics is highly desired.
• Previous experience installing and working in a large format print facility is preferred.
