Temp to Hire

1st shift: 6am - 4:30pm M–Thu, OT on Friday and Saturday

$18–$20/hr

• Set up, calibrate, and operate fabrication machinery, including but not limited to press brakes, shears, band saws, drill presses, and grinders, sandblasters.
• Load and position raw metal sheets, tubes, or bars into machines manually or using overhead cranes/forklifts.
• Monitor machine cycles and operations to detect any malfunctions or defects, adjusting settings as necessary.

• Perform material prep work, including deburring, cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning rust or scale off metal surfaces.

• Experience:
  
  1–3 years of experience operating metal fabrication machinery in a manufacturing or job shop environment.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Measurement:
  Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, squares).
• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, and stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods.
• Math
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong basic math skills, including fractions and decimals, for part measurement and machine setup.
