Operates equipment related to these activities and trains less-experienced workers in equipment operation. This is an ongoing opportunity; we are continuously accepting applications for this role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Removes glass from A-Frame Cart or Rack
- Sets glass on conveyor belt of washer
- Picks up specific Lowe glass
- Changes the water filters on the washer as needed
- Flushes the water tanks at the end of each shift/day
- Changes the air filters on the washer as needed
- Tests the Lowe detector at the beginning of each shift
- Delivers carts to Glass Washer
- Ensures that equipment used is operable and maintained
- May be required to work at different workstations as production needs require.
- Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced.
- Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures.
Ensures to adhere to safety regulations. Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to walk, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds with the assistance of another qualified person.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and glass.
- Frequently exposed to extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
- Routinely exposed to hazardous noise levels.
