We are on a journey of continuous growth - now looking for our next star - a passionate Operator - Forklift.

This role is responsible for moving product within the Distribution Center, pull and position for loading on trucks.

Essential

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* Positions forklift over or around loaded pallets, boxes, products, or materials and transports load(s) to designated area.

* Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.

* May inventory materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.

* Weighs materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.

* Completes the Forklift Inspection Book/Log at the beginning of shift.

* May shrink wrap up to 60 pallets per shift.

* Reports to supervisor regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards.

* Keeps working area organized and clean.

* Uses a scanner gun to inventory transactions.

* Organizes and secures stored materials and parts at designated area.

* Remains current on forklift training and certification as required by supervisor, manager, and/or Igloo Safety.

* Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:

* Education:

High school diploma or equivalency.

* Experience:

Minimum six (6) months previous stand-up and sit-down forklift experience.

* English language skills:
Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.

* Math skills:
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

* Ability to read labels and numbers.

* Able to read material list as it relates to their job duties.

Physical Demands & Conditions

(Applicable to Igloo Operators, Technicians, Leaders, and Other Roles in Manufacturing)

Standing & Walking

Roles may involve extended periods (up to 12 hours) of standing and walking, including moving at a brisk pace and occasional stair climbing.

Postural Requirements

Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and working in low or awkward positions during production or maintenance tasks.

Lifting & Material Handling

* Operator-level roles may involve lifting up to 25 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.

* Technician-level roles may involve lifting up to 50 lb multiple times per day, including overhead lifts.

* Where possible, mechanical aids (e.g., hoists, forklifts) are used.

Fine Motor Skills & Tool Use

Use of both hands is required to operate tools, perform adjustments, and handle assembly materials with precision.

Visual Requirements

Sufficient visual acuity (e.g., 20/40 with or without correction) is necessary for tasks involving inspection and safe equipment operation.
