Now the company needs a strong front-line manufacturing leader who wants to help build it.

We are searching for a Plant Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day manufacturing execution at a growing advanced-energy production facility in Katy, Texas. You will be on the production floor, leading from the front, setting expectations, coaching operators, solving problems in real time, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring the operation delivers against its production schedule. You will lead a team of production operators and technicians while helping shape the operation as manufacturing capacity, processes, and the workforce continue to grow.

• Run daily production activities, sequence work, assign staffing and equipment, and adjust priorities as conditions change.
• Own performance across throughput, yield, schedule attainment, downtime, and production accuracy.
• Identify production issues quickly and elevate deviations with a clear understanding of the cause, impact, and required action.
• Lead structured shift start-ups and handoffs covering equipment status, production priorities, open issues, and materials.
• Maintain accurate production, downtime, material-consumption, and operating records.
• Help introduce and stabilize new manufacturing processes as the facility expands.
• Keep the production floor organized, disciplined, and focused on execution.

• Lead regular safety discussions, pre-production briefings, and toolbox talks.
• Reinforce PPE, chemical-handling, and safe-work requirements.
• Maintain strong discipline around lockout/tagout, hazard communication, and other applicable industrial safety practices.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, spills, near misses, and potential exposures.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain high standards for housekeeping, equipment condition, and overall workplace safety.
• Build a culture where employees feel accountable for both their own safety and the safety of the team.

• Production and batch records are complete, legible, accurate, and maintained in real time.
• Required process checks and sampling occur at the appropriate stages of production.
• Materials are correctly identified, segregated, handled, and documented.
• Product and material traceability is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
• Operators follow established SOPs and production procedures.
• Non-conforming material is identified and controlled appropriately.
• Procedures that no longer reflect actual operating conditions are identified and addressed.
• Train and coach operators against established qualification and training requirements.
• Determine when employees are prepared to perform tasks independently.
• Onboard new employees and help them become safe, productive members of the team.
• Manage day-to-day staffing, attendance, timekeeping, and production coverage.
• Set clear expectations around performance, quality, safety, and workplace conduct.
• Provide direct and timely feedback.
• Recognize strong performance and address performance concerns early.
• Document and escape employee issues when appropriate.
• Develop employees who demonstrate the capability and ambition to take on greater responsibility.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues at the production-floor level.
• Develop a strong understanding of equipment your team can safely maintain or adjust.
