Lead Child's Minister

The Children’s Minister will provide spiritual leadership by modeling a Christ‑centered lifestyle and nurturing children’s faith through biblical teaching and engaging ministry programs. This role oversees curriculum planning, volunteer recruitment and training, ministry administration, and coordination with church staff to ensure effective and organized programming.

The minister will also build strong relationships with parents and families, equipping them with resources and opportunities.

• Provide spiritual leadership and biblical teaching to children.
• Oversee curriculum planning and execution.
• Recruit and train volunteers for the ministry.
• Administer ministry operations and coordinate with church staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with parents and families.
• Ensure a safe, engaging, and spiritually enriching environment for kids and families.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience:
  
  3+ years of applicable experience.
• Pastoral Care: empathetic and caring heart for ministering to children and families.
• Punctuality: time sensitive, honoring calendars of colleagues, volunteers, and guests.
• Software Familiarity: basic office software, Planning Center Online, Google Suite, and understanding of production equipment (sound, video, lighting).
• Learner: hunger to learn new skills, fresh ideas, and better ways of working.
• Spirituality: life commitment to Jesus Christ, alignment with church beliefs, and consistency with biblical principles.
• Communication: interfaces with church staff, volunteers, guests, and school personnel.

• Spiritual Impact: qualitative review of spiritual growth in children and families.
• Ministry Growth & Participation: quantitative tracking of attendance and volunteer recruitment metrics.
• Program Execution: review of event and service execution focusing on organization, safety, and excellence.
• Team Cohesion: qualitative review of team morale and collaboration.
