Registered Nurse, RN – Nights

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary planning
• Coordinate discharge planning
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
• Access community resources
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
• May serve as Charge Nurse

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
• Current BLS certification is required
• AHA-approved BLS certification within 90 days of employment
• Evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
• AHA-approved ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required

Demonstrates expertise in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary planning, and discharge coordination, while ensuring compliance with nursing licensure and certification requirements. Proficient in providing education to patients and families, and accessing community resources to support post-hospitalization care.
