Livewell Animal Hospital of Katy was founded by Dr. Alex Deal, whose clinical interests include ultrasonography, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

As a growing, single-doctor practice, we are seeking an associate veterinarian ready to help build something special! We are open to either a full-time or part-time teammate. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a hospital's story from the ground up. You won't just fill a role; you'll play an essential part in continuing to build out the vision for the clinic, helping to shape the culture, workflows, and client experience for years to come.

We are looking for a veterinarian who is genuinely excited about growing a practice, passionate about practicing high-quality medicine and surgery, and interested in putting down roots within our hospital and community. Whether you are an established DVM comfortable practicing independently or an earlier-career veterinarian eager to develop your skills, you'll find a supportive environment here that values continued learning and mentorship.

Dr. Deal is an excellent surgical and ultrasound mentor. With clinical interests spanning ultrasonography, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery, he is eager to work alongside an associate who wants to sharpen these skills and expand their capabilities.

Our hospital is equipped with in-house testing and diagnostics, diagnostic imaging with ultrasonography, and advanced anesthetic monitoring supporting a safe, multi-modal approach to every procedure. Whether your interests lie in preventive medicine, surgery, diagnostics, or ultrasound, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and pursue your professional passions in a supportive environment that values continued learning and development.
