AC​/DC QC Inspector in Katy

AC/DC Electrical Manufacturing Quality Control Inspector – 1st & 2nd Shifts

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector with electrical knowledge for a long‑term opportunity in the Katy area. Ideal candidates have experience in electrical testing, manufacturing inspection, or ISO‑regulated environments.

• Days: $22/hour – Monday‑Friday, 6 AM ‑ 2:30 PM
• Nights: $24/hour – Monday‑Friday, 2:30 PM ‑ 10:00 PM
• Optional weekend overtime hours available.

• Perform quality inspections at pre‑power, in‑process, and final stages.
• Inspect electrical and mechanical components for defects, damage, and compliance.
• Read and verify engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Accurately complete and review quality documentation and inspection reports.
• Identify and document non‑conforming products (NCPs).
• Partner with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Follow ISO standards, safety procedures, and quality guidelines.
• Use measurement tools such as digital multimeters, tape measures, hand tools, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, pin gauges, thread gauges, optical comparators, vision systems, surface roughness testers, hardness testers, and coordinate measuring machines.
• Perform first‑article inspection, in‑process statistical sampling, and maintain inspection equipment.

• Minimum 3 years of quality control or inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Experience working with electrical systems or components.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality systems is a plus.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
