OverviewLead the operational processes to deliver sales and profits while protecting assets. Provide a well merchandised and well in-stock store by leading and supporting inventory management processes. Lead a team of well-trained team members to deliver a customer centric shopping experience. Deliver friendly customer service.
Responsibilities- Assist Store Manager in planning and supporting the scheduling and execution of store workload.
- Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; ensure execution of Company policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
- Support and participate in truck unload and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget.
- Achieve KPI targets; manage the team to achieve their role KPIs.
- Manage visual merchandising standards in store and execution of feature space and seasonal layouts.
- Manage and execute inventory management processes in store.
- Manage and execute merchandise operations and Omni-channel processes.
- Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
- Train, observe and coach the team to achieve results; participate in the performance management process; support Talent Development; utilize leadership competencies for self-development.
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; maintain a positive and respectful demeanor, promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values; project a positive image and serve as a role model.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Acknowledge customers, help locate products and provide solutions.
- Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
- Assist with Omni-channel processes.
- Retail management leadership experience
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment

- Public retail store setting taking care of customers; climate controlled public areas; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled; some outdoor work for tasks like retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks; frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press; work hours include nights, weekends and early mornings
