About the Role:

The Service Cashier plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience at our Katy Store. This position is responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling cash, and providing exceptional service to all customers. The Service Cashier will also assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, contributing to an inviting shopping environment. Additionally, this role involves addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the transaction process.

Ultimately, the Service Cashier is vital in fostering customer loyalty and satisfaction through efficient service and a friendly demeanor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process customer transactions using the point-of-sale system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
  • Assist in training new cashiers and support team members as needed.
