Member Specialist PT - FLEX

Position Overview

Provide member service and maintain the checkout area. Resolve member issues and concerns, promote Sam's Club products and services, and guide members regarding self‑service technology. Process purchases and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies, handling different membership and payment types. Follow safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe situations to facility management.

Maintain entrance and exit areas, acknowledge members, verify membership cards, and identify member needs. Assist with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise, promote products, zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, assist with transporting items, and maintain a safe shopping environment. Review member receipts, secure and safeguard Sam's Club assets, observe potential criminal activity, and maintain required documentation. Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.

Assist with training Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures, teach new technology and tool functionality, deliver new programs rollout training, and provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage for the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
