• Ability to read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co‑workers
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Effectively present information one‑on‑one and in small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs

Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, you will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The role includes assisting customers, cleaning display cases and shelves, cleaning, filling, and rotating the self‑serve displays, and performing heavy lifting, bending, and stooping for extended periods. A variety of hours including nights and weekends may be necessary. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, requiring standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory acuity.
