I’m partnering with a leading industrial valve manufacturer delivering innovative flow control solutions across multiple industries. With a strong North American presence, this company is committed to reliable products, exceptional service, and expert technical support.
We’re seeking a Junior Inside Sales Engineer to join their team and support sales operations, providing technical guidance, assisting with quotes, managing smaller projects, and ensuring smooth order processing. This entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow their technical sales and project management skills in a dynamic industrial environment.
- Assist with RFQs, order confirmations, and processing customer POs.
- Provide technical support and product guidance to customers under senior team mentorship.
- Support training sessions, presentations, and lunch-and-learn events.
- Respond to customer calls and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate RMAs when necessary.
- Use CRM systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to manage orders and interactions.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product management to fulfill customer needs.
- Assist in project management for smaller orders and contribute to larger projects as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity.
- Support trade shows, including booth setup and breakdown.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in technical sales, customer support, or similar roles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of CRM and ERP systems; experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer visits and training.
Preferred:
- Experience in industrial valves or flow control industry.
- Familiarity with project-based sales or order management.
- Ambition to grow into advanced technical sales roles.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Base Salary: $65,000 per year.
- Communal Fund Bonus: 2% of project sales over $150,000 shared quarterly across the team.
