Our US Bio Pharma Respiratory and Immunology (R&I) Team tackles respiratory diseases such as asthma, COPD, and IPF, along with inflammatory and autoimmune conditions including psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, systemic lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis.

• Develop superior product and disease‑state knowledge and effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on‑label prescribing.
• Function independently with sales proficiency to drive performance, ensuring sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
• Successfully complete training requirements, including product examinations.
• Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed‑care information for your assigned sales territory.
• Partner with your District Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director to develop a local strategy and business plan that generates recognizable increases in territory sales.
• Capitalize on formulary approvals and other opportunities by implementing Strategic Targeting Plans with promotional, personnel, and analytical tools based on local patient needs.
• Provide special education to healthcare providers through programs that follow AstraZeneca’s ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with other Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists to coordinate selling efforts toward common objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree
• A driver’s license and safe driving record
• 0–2+ years of sales experience

• Knowledge of the medical, healthcare, or pharmacy industry and clinical skills, preferably within respiratory therapeutic areas
• Prior sales experience Strong organizational and communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership
• Exemplified judgment and decision‑making capability
• Result‑oriented with demonstrated time‑management skills
• Ability to learn, analyze, understand, and convey complex information
