Job Overview

The Sales Associate interacts with hundreds of customers to guide them through vehicle purchases in a no‑haggle sales environment. With outstanding communication and listening skills, you’ll help customers select their perfect vehicle, negotiate terms that fit their lifestyles and budgets, and close the deal.

• Interact with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
• Guide customers through the sales process, including vehicle selection, financing options, and trade‑in evaluations.
• Negotiate terms to meet customer expectations and close sales.
• Provide post‑sale follow‑up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate transitions of customers to the Service department for maintenance and support.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date sales and customer records.
• Meet and exceed targeted sales goals and customer service metrics.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Prior sales or retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong desire to help people and exceed expectations.
• Willingness to follow up with customers and use technology tools.
• Valid in‑state driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Months 1‑3:
Base salary or hourly rate with additional bonuses for units sold and customer service scores. Monthly manager reviews will help maximize the incentive plan.

Months 4+:
Transition to the store’s commission pay plan, allowing you to control financial outcomes based on gross profit, customer service, and sales volume.
