This is a full‑time, on‑site Sales Manager role located in Katy, TX. The Sales Manager oversees day‑to‑day sales operations, including leading and coaching the sales team, setting individual and team sales goals, and monitoring performance against targets. This role manages the sales process from customer inquiry to vehicle delivery, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality customer experience and adherence to dealership policies. The Sales Manager collaborates with finance, service, and parts departments to support seamless customer interactions and promote cross‑functional initiatives.
Additional responsibilities include analyzing sales data, implementing sales strategies and promotional activities, maintaining inventory awareness, and supporting recruitment and training of sales staff.
- Sales leadership and team management skills, including coaching, performance oversight, and the ability to inspire results‑driven, customer‑focused teams.
- Customer relationship management, negotiation, and closing skills to guide customers through the sales process and build long‑term loyalty.
- Business and financial acumen, including understanding of pricing, profit margins, and dealership KPIs to interpret sales reports and drive growth.
- Organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple customers and deals, and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Experience in automotive sales or retail sales management is highly beneficial; prior on‑site dealership experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office) to manage leads, track performance, and prepare reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a retail automotive environment.
