As a Security Officer Armed Security Patrol Driver in Katy, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a busy retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, strong communication, and responsive service. This armed and driving post offers the opportunity to support daily operations, interact with the public, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or loading zones to support access control, observe unusual activity, and assist with incident response.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal policies, maintaining professional presence and readiness for assigned armed responsibilities.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
