Job DetailsAs a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coordinator in Katy, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Salary and Schedule information:
Pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Job schedule details are provided by site and may vary by location.
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter points, to identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
- Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and first responders while supporting daily operations and addressing security-related issues as they arise.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
