Position Overview
We are hiring a skilled and dependable Residential HVAC Technician to join our growing team in the Katy, TX area. If you're customer-focused, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will install, maintain, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.
Primary Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems, including:
- Central air conditioning systems
- Heat pumps
- Furnaces
- Ductless mini-split systems
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency, reliability, and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose heating and cooling issues accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with:
- Local building codes
- Company standards
- Safety regulations
- EPA 608 requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, materials used, and labor performed.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Provide professional, courteous service and maintain a positive customer experience.
- Participate in training opportunities to stay current with industry standards and technology.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on residential HVAC experience required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- EPA 608 Certification required (Type II or Universal preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience servicing and repairing residential heating and cooling equipment.
- Familiarity with modern HVAC diagnostic tools and mobile work order systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment background screening.
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as needed.
- Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, closets, and other confined spaces.
- Ability to work outdoors in Texas heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions.

Hourly Rate: USD $21.00–$23.00 per hour.
