Service Technician

Westside Grill & Fireplace Inc. is a small family business that has been serving the greater Houston area for over 30 years. We sell, install, and service gas grills, gas logs, and fireplaces in the Katy area.

Westside Grill & Fireplace is searching for a Service Technician to join our growing team! We offer our employees a family‑feel work environment and a place you enjoy spending your days grilling and enhancing a small business.

We are looking for individuals willing to offer exceptional service with the highest integrity to provide maintenance, service and repairs on gas logs and grills. Experience is favorable but not necessary. The individual must also be able to assist on the sales floor.

Provide maintenance, service and repairs on gas fireplaces and gas grills, and assist on the sales floor.

Dependent on experience.

Paid vacation and sick time, Spiff Program & IRA with company match for full‑time position.

• Must pass background screen.
• 1+ years relevant work experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and decision‑making skills to troubleshoot and perform repairs.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely.
• Kept work vehicle and area clean and organized.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and load/unload vehicles.
• Advanced customer service skills.
• Willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.
• Must be able to stand/walk a minimum of 6 hours.
