Role DescriptionThe Glazier role at Creative Glass & Mirror is a full-time, on-site position based in Katy, TX. The Glazier will install, repair, and replace glass in windows, doors, and other fixtures for residential and commercial projects. Daily tasks include measuring and cutting glass, preparing frames, applying glazing compounds, and ensuring secure, clean installations. The role involves traveling to job sites, handling glass safely, operating tools and equipment, and troubleshooting installation issues.
The Glazier will interact with customers and team members, provide clear updates on job progress, and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Practical experience with window installation, repair, and replacement, including accurate measuring and fitting.
- Knowledge of glazing techniques, sealants, and safety procedures for handling and setting glass.
- Ability to work with doors and related hardware, including glass door installation and adjustment.
- Familiarity with auto glass replacement or repair is beneficial but not required.
- Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and respect for client property.
- Basic construction or carpentry experience, with proficiency using hand and power tools.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including lifting and moving glass and materials safely.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites in and around Katy, TX.
- Ability to work full time on-site, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a team.
