• Ensures good customer relations through consistent, on‑time deliveries and by acting in a courteous and professional manner.
• Transports and delivers goods in a timely manner.
• Picks materials for orders, loads/unloads material, and enters shipping tickets.
• Properly and safely secures loads and ensures loads are within vehicle weight limits.
• Verifies count and condition of freight.
• Prepares reports of overages, shortages, and damages as needed.
• Prepares receipts for load pickup or delivery.
• Collects payments for goods delivered and delivery charges.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with manager to receive delivery instructions.
• Replenishes fuel and restocks materials needed to perform daily duties.
• When no deliveries are required, performs warehouse duties.
• Cleans and maintains work areas.
• Ensures quality control; no damaged product is sent out or accepted in.
• Adequately adheres to all processes.

• Valid driver’s license meeting Crawford’s requirements.
• Ability to obtain and pass a DOT physical.
• Six months or more of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PIT proficiency; reach truck, order picker, "sit‑down" propane. Current certification is a plus.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

• Operates company vehicle in a safe manner and in compliance with all state and federal DOT standards and regulations.
• Makes report of any vehicle problems or defects.
• Operates MHE safely and efficiently as required.
• Reports vehicle accidents or incidents immediately to management.
• Maintains a truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water, and keeps the vehicle clean.
• Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, setting tire chains, and changing spark plugs.
