Reliance Inc - - Responsibilities:
Operate commercial vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating over 26,001 lbs to deliver or pick up merchandise, materials, and equipment to assigned regional/local destinations and customers in a timely fashion;
Safely maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and load/unload vehicles as required;
Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain DVIR in compliance with FMCSA requirements;
Open and read bills of lading and manifests to determine assignment details; ensure documentation is complete and accurate;
Use electronic logging device (ELD) to log daily activities as required by FMCSA;
Report traffic incidents, accidents, violations, or vehicle damage to supervisory staff;
Adhere to safety procedures and cargo securement standards while transporting goods
