* Job Description:

**** Education**:
* High school diploma or G.E.D. required
** Work Experiences:
*** 1+ year of related work experience
* 6+ months of supervisory experience preferred
* Knowledge of distribution functions and production standards preferred
*
* Skills:

*** Must have a “Safety First” mentality
* MS office, with Intermediate experience in Excel and other warehouse management system software
* Effective listening, speaking and writing communication skills
* Interpersonal skills that promote collaboration with operations team
* Ability to analyze problems and resolve issues in a calm, professional manner in a fast paced and frequently changing environment
* Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
** Responsibilities:
*** Supervise Distribution Center crews and participate in activities related to receiving, storing, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of materials and supplies to ensure effective and efficient operations
* Promote productivity and safety through effective training and constant feedback to team members
* Monitor team member attendance and performance to provide feedback, as necessary
* Maintain daily objectives and ensure work goals are met in a timely and effective manner
* Communicate with other Distribution Center departments to maintain efficient product flow
* Conduct departmental meetings to provide working and safety instructions to team members
* * Performs other general warehouse duties as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS:

There are routine exposures to moderate heat, cold, moisture/wetness and unpleasant air conditions. The position involves considerable physical exertion.
