Qualifications- College hours, high school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Texas Operator’s License
- Forklift Operator certification
- Know basic principles of parts inventory and pick-up
- Excellent record keeping and organization skills
- Physically able to lift 50 pounds
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- Proficient in computer operations and ability to use department software programs
Receives, stores and stocks materials, equipment and supplies so the district is kept in a condition of operating readiness.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Represent the District in a professional manner when dealing with the general public (i.e., while operating district vehicles).
- Provide support to the Warehouse Clerks and Inventory Control Specialists.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Responsible for organizing, maintaining and monitoring stock and inventory daily.
- Load and unload parts/equipment from delivery trucks.
- Load parts on pallets or shelves for distribution.
- Identify damage, loss or surplus stock stored in the warehouse.
- Pickup and delivery of parts/materials from vendors to district sites in an efficient and timely manner.
- Carry out shipping and receiving requests as directed.
- Assist with shared tool and equipment check out procedures.
- Maintain warehouse and tool storage areas kept clean and safe.
- Occasional overtime or shift modifications may be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Working ConditionsMaintain emotional control under stress. Be capable of working in outdoor conditions. Occasional exposure to noise.
