Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Receiving Manager to oversee inbound warehouse operations and lead the receiving team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate receipt of shipments, inventory control, freight documentation, and efficient warehouse operations while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse receiving operations and supervise the receiving team.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders (POs) and bills of lading (BOLs).
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
• Process freight claims and resolve shipment discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
• Maintain inventory records, location transfers, and receiving documentation.
• Monitor inbound freight expenses and inventory accuracy.
• Train, mentor, and develop warehouse associates.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
• Operate or oversee the use of material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse receiving experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, POs, BOLs, and freight documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
• Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, and electric pallet jacks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
