Fox Valley Tool & Die is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Order Processing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer orders from entry through delivery, ensuring each order is processed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate all customer offers and ensure accuracy of all forms.
  • Work with Project Managers and process customer orders.
  • Process customer orders - enter PO’s into ERP software and send correspondence to customers.
  • Ensure all paperwork and documents are saved to the sales order in the ERP software.
  • Administer correspondence with customers for order processing.
  • Creating Routers with Work tickets printed with ERP Software, prints any necessary documentation required.
  • Creates Shipping paperwork for out of country shipments.
  • Process and compile reports for Project Managers.
  • Expedite orders as required.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, in person, or by email regarding orders, order status, and order acknowledgements.
  • Duties may include – Processing quotes for Project Managers.
  • Supports:
    Project Managers and Shipping and Receiving.
  • Backs up co-workers as required.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned by managers.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment, along with providing safety shoes and glasses as required for visitors.
  • Supports the company’s quality policy through compliance with the quality management system requirements.
  • This position is required to work onsite (not remote).
COMPETENCIES:

  • High School Diploma/GED required, Associate/Technical/bachelor’s degree preferred
  • One-year previous experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office
  • Thorough knowledge of ERP software
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, personable, outgoing, and helpful
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Standard work hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm; overtime may be required based on business needs.
