This location is in Kaukauna, WI, relocation, or daily commute required.
Location: Kaukauna, WI
Shift: 1st (6:00AM - 4:30PM, Tuesday - Friday, 10 hours)
Job descriptionVerifies and keeps records on incoming shipments, unloads and lay down of materials, inventory management, support of all receiving functions.
Summary of Responsibilities/Duties- Drive rough terrain forklift to unload and move materials
- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measure items from incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading invoices, orders, or other records.
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, recording shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Properly routes items to appropriate department or yard location.
- Read and understand certified metal technical records (CMTRs) and input them into file system
- Communicate with vendors to acquire missing paperwork
- Input receipts on computer
- Order shop supplies and maintain consumable crib
- Back up Receiving department supervisor duties for vacation/illness
Skills and Abilities
Required
- Computer proficiency in a variety of computer programs, keyboarding skills.
- Experience with rough terrain forklifts
- Ability to use Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience working with Infor CSI Software
