Role Description

The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist position is a full-time, 2nd shift, on-site role located in Kaukauna, WI. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include selecting tooling, performing machine offsets and adjustments, monitoring machining processes, and verifying part dimensions with appropriate measuring instruments.

The CNC Machinist will interpret blueprints, maintain equipment, follow established safety and quality procedures, and collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve machining issues. The role also involves documenting work performed, contributing to continuous improvement efforts, and supporting efficient production workflows.

Qualifications
  • Strong CNC machine operation skills, including Machine Operation and Machinery setup and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Machining processes, such as Milling and turning of complex components.
  • Experience with Quality Control practices, including dimensional inspection and use of precision measuring tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions accurately.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming and set up is required
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment, ideally with tight-tolerance and complex parts.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Technical diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in machining or CNC technology; willingness to continue learning and adapt to new technologies.
