Job Description

This position is responsible for sales and marketing of tissue packaging equipment to our existing and new customers in North America. The ideal candidate will have experience and personal connections in the tissue packaging market with a track record of success managing capital equipment sales in this space. This position will be based out of our Kaukauna, Wisconsin location.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this role include Servicing existing customer base and expanding sales to new customers, customer relations, driving business growth through the identification, development, negotiation, and closure of new contracts of personal care packaging equipment with new prospects and existing customers. In this role, you will be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of the sales relationship with each customer/prospect in their portfolio at every level from the executive suite to departmental line managers.

This role will be measured against sales/revenue and profit margin targets established annually by management.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and plans to meet revenue goals
  • Growing customer relationships
  • Driving growth by maintaining and expanding customer base
  • Managing the sales process and customer relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
  • Ensuring smooth project transition from sales to delivery
  • Providing feedback on market wants and needs to VTP and TMC
  • Coordinating the relationship between key customer personnel and VTP and TMC leadership
  • Delivering product presentations both virtually and in person
  • Creating customer proposals
  • Identifying the right stakeholders and building breakthrough relationships
  • Direct all the sales and marketing activities for the product line
Job Essential Functions
  • Create and maintain sales plan
  • New business development via prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing
  • Utilize technical and financial knowledge to create value propositions
  • Lead or participate in contract negotiations
  • Prepare and maintain a variety of sales reports
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials
  • Identify industry competitors and market conditions
  • Driving consensus within internal teams leading to satisfied customers
  • Participate in trade shows events
  • Requires travel approx. 40 - 50% of the time
  • May mentor and coach other Sales managers.
Requirements:

Four-year degree in engineering / technical science field, or business/management preferred. Two or more years’ experience in sales of packaging equipment in a business-to-business environment.
