Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Concrete Laborer/Finisher Flatwork in Kaukauna, WI. Leapros Skilled Trades is actively recruiting an experienced Concrete Laborer/Finisher – Flatwork for a contract-to-perm opportunity with a commercial concrete contractor based in the Kaukauna, WI area. This full-time position supports commercial concrete flatwork projects across multiple Wisconsin jobsite locations, with an initial project in the Sun Prairie area starting October 5, 2026 through approximately October 13, followed by primary work in the Appleton and Green Bay area, periodic travel in mid-November, and a return to the Madison area after Thanksgiving through approximately January 1.
The ideal candidate brings solid hands-on experience with all phases of concrete placement and finishing, is comfortable on active commercial jobsites, and is dependable enough to travel as project schedules require.
Job Type: Contract to Perm
Pay: $24 to $35 Per Hour BOE
Responsibilities:- Assist with commercial concrete flatwork projects across multiple Wisconsin jobsite locations throughout the engagement
- Prepare areas for concrete placement, including layout and forming activities prior to each pour
- Assist with forming, pouring, spreading, and leveling concrete during active commercial pours
- Operate screeds, floats, trowels, edgers, and other concrete hand tools continuously throughout pours
- Perform concrete finishing tasks based on experience level under the direction of experienced finishers
- Support setup, breakdown, and cleanup of work areas before and after each pour
- Follow direction from the foreman and work cooperatively with the crew to maintain jobsite productivity
- Adhere to all jobsite safety requirements and OSHA safety protocols throughout each shift
- Previous concrete flatwork experience required
- Ability to assist with all phases of concrete placement including forming, pouring, spreading, and leveling
- Proficiency with common concrete hand tools including screeds, floats, trowels, and edgers
- Comfortable working on and around active commercial concrete pours
- Willingness and ability to travel for scheduled out-of-town projects as required by the project schedule
- Reliable transportation to and from jobsites
- Dependable attendance and consistent follow-through on assignments
- Concrete finishing experience preferred
- Prior experience on commercial concrete projects preferred
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
- Must be able to use hands and arms to operate concrete tools and equipment continuously during pours
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and wet environments
- Exposure to concrete, dust, and other construction site materials throughout the shift
- Must be aware of and comply with OSHA safety standards on active jobsites
The anticipated pay range for this position is $24 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
