Service Assistant

GP Motor Company is a fast-paced automotive dealership specializing in hail-damaged vehicles sold as-is. We are committed to maintaining an efficient vehicle reconditioning and sales process while providing professional service to our customers, vendors, and employees.

GP Motor Company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Service Assistant to support our service and inventory operations at our Sugar Street location.

This position works closely with Lot Technicians, service employees, and dealership management to help vehicles move efficiently through the intake, reconditioning, and sales process. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using computer systems, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced dealership environment.

• Coordinate with Lot Technicians regarding the scheduling and movement of vehicles requiring service or repairs
• Generate and print Buyer’s Guides for incoming inventory vehicles
• Enter parts and sublet costs associated with sold vehicles into dealership systems
• Maintain accurate vehicle, service, and repair documentation
• Assist with administrative tasks related to vehicle intake and reconditioning
• Provide professional assistance to customers, vendors, and dealership employees
• Maintain organized and accurate dealership records
• Support service and inventory operations as assigned by management

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and the ability to follow established procedures

• Experience using BILL, Dealer track, or similar dealership systems
• Previous administrative, service-support, or inventory experience
• Full-time position
• On-site at 162 Sugar Street in Layton, Utah
• Work is performed in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment
• Regular interaction with service employees, Lot Technicians, management, vendors, and customers

• $15.00–$18.00 per hour
• Starting pay will be based on experience and qualifications
