3c Business Solutions Inc is looking for an experienced Lead Low Voltage Cabling Technician to join our growing team in Kaysville, UT. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll drive quality installations and guide a skilled team on commercial, government, religious & educational projects. If you take pride in clean, professional cabling work, work well with people and have proven leadership experience, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise low voltage cabling installation crews on job sites
- Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cable
- Oversee installation of AV, security, access control, and structured data network systems
- Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, and technical schematics
- Ensure all work meets industry BICSI standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and clients on job site progress
- Troubleshoot and resolve cabling and connectivity issues efficiently
- 3+ years of hands‑on low voltage cabling experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
- Proficiency in structured cabling, terminations, and cable testing with fluke experience
- Experience with fiber optic splicing and termination preferred
- BICSI, OSHA 10, or relevant low voltage certifications a plus
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to work in various physical environments including attics, crawl spaces, and elevated lifts
- Must have a clean driving record and can pass a pre‑employment background & drug test
