Great Basin Industrial is seeking experienced Field Welders to join our traveling construction team. This position performs high-quality welding on above ground storage tanks, structural steel, piping, and other industrial components at project sites across the United States. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and takes pride in producing quality workmanship while working in a fast-paced industrial construction environment. Travel is required, and projects may involve extended schedules depending on customer and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and other welding processes as required by project specifications.
• Weld structural steel, storage tanks, piping, and miscellaneous metal components in accordance with approved welding procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication details.
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, fitting, grinding, and aligning components.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Operate welding machines, torches, grinders, and other hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company housekeeping standards.
• Comply with all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety requirements.
• Work effectively with supervisors, fitters, laborers, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
• Travel to project sites throughout the United States and work extended hours as required.
