Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Responsible for receiving product, verifying part numbers, quantities, and physical condition of deliveries. If shipping containers are damaged, note it on the delivery receipt when signing for the delivery. Match up packing slips with purchase orders.
  • Upon receipt of vendor invoices, match with packing slips and original purchase order. Verify that items are the correct product, the quantities are accurate, and that the pricing matches the negotiated quote pricing. Verify sales tax information and if shipping charges are appropriate. Record receipt of product onto the PO and record in specific project within warehousing system, or mark as 3c stock, as appropriate.

    Scan packing slip original, create PO Receipt, keep original as a back for invoices in the Acumatica software system.
  • Stage products for job projects. Designate job pallets and assemble from the bill of materials all the product and quantities needed to complete the job. Either pull product from company stock in the warehouse or as deliveries are made. Create a line item parts list and have crew leads sign off on the materials as they are loaded and removed from the warehouse.

    Document in job materials file on the server so we can track all the raw materials used on each job site. No product should ever leave the facilities without your documentation.
  • When jobs are completed and the balance of the inventory is returned to the warehouse, counts need to be taken and return amounts documented into the job materials file prior to returning inventory to stock.
  • Responsible for the organization and upkeep of the warehouse. Scheduled rotation of stock and the mid‑max levels of commonly used materials (including consumables) need to be evaluated and maintained.
  • Responsible for the security of the warehouse and its contents. Nothing should ever leave the facility without proper documentation.
  • Company tools and equipment, when purchased, need to be branded/permanently labeled. Photos, serial numbers, and model numbers need to be documented on the server. Company tools need to be secured and then checked in and out and inspected upon return. Items damaged, lost, or stolen need to be reported immediately. General maintenance of tools to be completed at check in, as well as verification of battery life, and all parts and pieces accounted for.

    DSX Fiber testing tool kits need a full check list completed to ensure they’re ready for next use.
  • Document all 3c vehicles and the 3c equipment assigned to each vehicle. When the vehicle is newly assigned to a driver, work with administrator to get properly signed documentation that driver is acknowledging what items are included as part of his vehicle inventory and are now his responsibility. Also, have the driver fill out and sign the vehicle condition assessment form.

    These forms will be referred to when the vehicle is turned back into the company.
  • Populate the vehicle service logs from receipts and monitor the recommended scheduled upkeep of each vehicle. Track inspections and registrations of company vehicles. If a vehicle has been taken to a repair shop, it’s your responsibility to follow through and coordinate/communicate with appropriate parties when vehicle will be back at 3c ready for technician’s use.
  • Responsible for the recycling of copper, gold, aluminum, and other products brought back to the warehouse from demolition projects or as scraps.
  • Responsible to maintain clear, safe entrance into both the front office entrance and back warehouse doors. Clear snow and disperse ice melt as needed.
  • Candidate will be a valuable asset in creating locations within Acumatica system and moving physical inventory into correct locations.
