SALARY RANGE : BU00 | EXEMPT-EXCLUDED

SALARY RATE: $36,400.0000 (Annual Salary) based on the FTE

JOB DUTIES :
The Front Office Coordinator is primarily responsible for checking in patients, ensuring the duties and functions of the medical center’s front office area are carried out with accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality. Make recommendations for improvements (process, work flow, etc.). The Front Office Coordinator ensures that the delivery of high quality, cost-effective, culturally sensitive services comply with all Federal, State and Local agency policy and procedures.

You will assist the scheduler as needed.

THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS ARE:
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements. Please note that unless specifically indicated; the required education and experiences may not be gained concurrently. In addition, qualifying work experiences are based on a 40-hour work week.

EDUCATION:

  • Requires a high school diploma.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have at least three years of relevant work experience, preferably in a medical setting or an equivalent combination of training and experience in order to perform office routines and clerical support functions.

Demonstrated ability to work independently as a team player. Tactfulness; detail oriented
5. Demonstrate willingness to adapt to change. Must be a self-starter and dependable. Able to prioritize workload while remaining flexible. Confident positive manner and appearance. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to greet patients and visitors in person or over the phone. Ability to maintain a high standard of customer service and company protocol in hectic and sometimes hostile situations.

Ability to communicate well with all levels of healthcare professionals.
