Hawaii State Department of Education seeks qualified teachers with a valid Hawaii Special Education license to join K-12 classrooms. A Bachelor’s degree is the minimum requirement, with continued emphasis on meeting HTSB licensing standards.
If hired without a Teacher Education Program, candidates have up to three years to obtain the license while actively pursuing it. Applicants must maintain progress toward licensing and enroll in an approved program.
