Telemetry Med/Surg Nurse
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Telemetry Med/Surg Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for caring for patients who require specialized monitoring due to their medical conditions. The Telemetry Med/Surg Nurse will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties- Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatments
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Respond to emergencies and provide life‑saving interventions as needed
- Current RN license
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry and/or medical‑surgical nursing
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
