Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Clinic / Ambulatory Care Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in outpatient ambulatory care to join our healthcare team on a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical judgment, demonstrate leadership within a multidisciplinary environment, and provide education and mentorship to fellow nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in an outpatient and ambulatory care setting.
- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, disease management, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
- Recent outpatient, ambulatory care, or rural health clinic experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
- Experience working with EPIC EMR or similar electronic health record systems.
Candidates should possess current certifications as required by the facility and assignment, which may include:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Additional specialty certifications may be accepted or preferred based on experience and facility requirements.
Schedule- Day Shift
- Monday through Friday
- Contract Position
- 13-Week Assignment
- No Holiday Coverage Required
