Responsibilities
9 bed ICU, ratio 2 pts to 1 nurse unless 1:1 is indicated. Potential for med/surg overflows then up to 3-4 pts per nurse. 12 hour day or night shifts. Schedule is 72 hrs every two weeks. Adult ICU, occasional stable pediatric patients; unstable pediatrics transferred to higher level of care. Minimum of three nurses per shift. Additional $2.00 per hour if assigned to charge nurse duties.
May float to other departments to help (not take a team of patients) if needed.
Must have PALS certification. Must have pediatric experience. Must have ACLS, BLS/BCLS and PALS certifications.
