Job Summary
The Senior Executive Associate to the Chancellor provides high-level executive, administrative, and strategic support to the Chancellor of the University of Nebraska position serves as a key liaison between the Chancellor's Office and internal and external stakeholders, supporting effective communication, coordination, and relationship management on behalf of the Chancellor. The Senior Executive Associate manages complex and confidential matters, ensures the efficient operation of the Chancellor's Office, and exercises significant independent judgment, discretion, and initiative in support of institutional priorities and leadership decision-making.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree
At least 5 years of executive-level administrative support experience, preferably within higher education or a similar complex organizational setting.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while handling multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated experience in managing confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Professional demeanor, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability to changing needs and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with a diverse range of stakeholders.
