Overview
The Coordinator of Facilities Operations is responsible for managing the facility in relation to athletic and special events at university facilities. This role manages the seamless execution of events by preparing facilities, addressing logistical needs, and maintaining operational standards. The coordinator also serves as an event support resource for athletic functions, fostering an environment that promotes safety, efficiency, and excellence. The coordinator assists with various facilities, capital planning, grounds, and projects associated with Nebraska Athletics.
This position will also implement and manage facility setup and access control for multiple athletic facilities including needs logs and coordination with multiple departments.
- Assist with Devaney Center, Dillon Tennis Center, and Hibner Stadium event setup and facilitate with the maintenance and custodial needs at all athletic facilities as needed. Will be required to work some evening and weekend events.
- Implement and manage facility setup and access control, including needs logs and coordination with multiple departments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree and 3 years of facilities management or event management experience; equivalent education/experience considered.
- Proficiency in basic maintenance and repair tasks.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and equipment operation.
- Experience in collegiate athletic facilities management or event operations.
